If you need help right away…
If you cannot wait to talk to an Intake Worker at The Phoenix Centre, contact the Child, Youth, and Family Crisis Line for Eastern Ontario at 1-877-377-7775 or the Kids Help Phone at 1-800-668-6868. They will be able to assist you and provide you with immediate supports and/or after-hours service.

INTAKE PROCESS
When you call the main office (613) 735-2374 an Admin Support Worker will ask you for your child’s information. The Admin Support Worker will schedule an appointment with an Intake Worker who will contact you to complete an initial assessment. Following the initial assessment, the Intake Worker will give your referral to the manager of your designated area, who will then assign your child a caseworker. The caseworker will follow up by calling you to arrange an appointment for your child. If a Joint Custody arrangement is in place, a Joint Custody form will be mailed out for your completion prior to your child’s first session with his or her caseworker.

REFERRALS
Referrals are accepted from health care or social service agencies as well as individuals. We serve clients under 18 years of age who live or attend school, in Renfrew County.
