The Board of Directors

The board of directors is a dynamic group of professionals and volunteers who are committed to providing quality services to each child and family who seek the services of The Phoenix Centre. The agency aspires to provide a full continuum of services, from prevention to post-vention to emotionally challenged children and their families in a compassionate manner.


Vision Statement
The Board of Directors of The Phoenix Centre for Children and Families has a vision of Renfrew County wherein all children are emotionally healthy, families are able to help themselves to make positive changes in their lives and all members of the community enjoy the benefit of good mental health.

 

Governance
The governing board emphasizes outward vision, encouragement of diversity in viewpoints, strategic leadership more than administrative detail, clear distinction of board and staff roles, and futuristic planning while maintaining a historical perspective and proactivity. The Board of Directors is made up of twelve elected members. Nominations for election to the Board of Directors will be accepted up to and including the Annual General Meeting election.
